Dr. Davidson received his dental degree from Washington University, School of Dental Medicine. He completed a hospital dental training program at what is now Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

He completed two years of periotontal specialty at the University of Missouri - Kansas City (UMKC), where he received a Master of Science degree.

He taught at Washington University, School of Dental Medicine as an Assistant Professor in the Periodontics Department. He was also a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology in the School of Dental Medicine.

He is currently an Adjunct Instructor - Dental, in the Department of Otolaryngology, Washington University, School of Medicine. He has been in private practice for more then 25 years.
